I think the product is very nicely made and perfect for thin chains. Unfortunately, I have some thicker long necklaces that I need to shorten so hopefully in the future, they will make a product that will accommodate that size.

The clasp is really pretty, unfortunately it won't accommodate the thickness of the chain I ordered it for. But that doesn't take away from the quality of the piece in any way.

The clasp works well in shortening the chain. It takes a little practice to put it on well. If your necklace is very light, the clamp could pull it back further than you intended since it has a bit of weight to it itself. I've found it useful and helpful, I will probably buy another in silver.

Have purchased several of these already as I've found they are the perfect-and safe-solution to making a chain shorter. Because there is a layer of foam surrounding the clamp and holding the chain in place your necklace will not be damaged when you decide to take it off. What a great gadget that is also aesthetically pleasing in and of itself!
